Students walking

Students at Snow Horse Elementary successfully completed their first fire drill of the school year, marking the beginning of a series of safety preparedness exercises. These drills are designed to help students and staff respond calmly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

Today’s drill focused on evacuation procedures. Teachers guided students to exit the building quickly, quietly, and efficiently. Each classroom teacher carried an emergency bag containing essential supplies, ensuring readiness in case the evacuation were real. Once outside, students lined up in designated areas while teachers held up signs to confirm that all students were accounted for.

The drill wrapped up just in time—moments before the rain began to fall. Great job, Colts, for demonstrating responsibility and teamwork!
