Snow Horse Elementary proudly celebrated the Month of the Military Child with a heartfelt tribute honoring both creativity and service. Throughout the month, students completed a wide variety of meaningful art projects while learning about and recognizing local military service members.
Students and families gathered for a special evening celebration dedicated to military families, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere across the school. Snow Horse students showcased their artistic talents through displays placed throughout the building and proudly honored local hero Lieutenant Colonel Jay Hess. Families strolled through the school, admiring the student-created artwork and the messages of gratitude woven throughout each piece.
The memorable evening concluded with a flag ceremony that celebrated patriotism and service, followed by cookies shared among families, students, and staff—bringing the community together in a joyful and meaningful celebration of military children and their families.
